SUMMARY:Visual Artist & Sculptor Mylene Costa Solo Exhibition during Miami Art Week presented by the City of Sunny Isles Beach
DESCRIPTION:Monday\, December 1st through Tuesday\, December 16th art lovers & collectors are cordially invited to the City of Sunny Isles Beach to experience the solo exhibition of internationally recognized\, award-winning visual artist & sculptor Mylene Costa at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center. \nThe City of Sunny Isles Beach proudly announces the return of its recurring art series\, Art Uncorked\, with a captivating exhibition during Miami Art Week. This event\, presented in partnership with the acclaimed Paris-based gallery Espace Meyer Zafra and Sunny Isles Beach-based artist Mylene Costa\, will run from December 1 to December 16\, 2025\, at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center. \nThe City will also host a special reception event titled “The Shape of Art: A Live Curation” on December 3 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center featuring champagne\, hors d’oeuvres\, and the opportunity to hear from gallerist Liliane Zafrani and artist Mylene Costa. \n  \nABOUT THE ARTIST \nMiami artist Mylene Costa is a Brazilian sculptor of international recognition\, whose work stands out for its feminine power\, formal elegance\, and refined aesthetic sensitivity. Born in Cuiabá\, Brazil\, she has built a solid and authentic career\, dividing her life between Brazil and the United States. Married to Sérgio Jacinto Costa and mother of three\, she skillfully balances family life\, rural production\, and a flourishing artistic journey. Her sculpture is both language and thought — an invitation to contemplate the body\, form\, and memory. With a poetic and plural approach\, her work moves between the figurative and the abstract\, the structural and the symbolic\, unconstrained by technical or thematic limits. Each piece is born from the fusion of intuition and reflection\, evoking questions of time\, ancestry\, human relationships\, and the silence of expanding forms. Recognized for her unique artistic signature\, Mylene has exhibited in cultural centers across Europe\, Latin America\, and Brazil\, gaining increasing visibility in major contemporary art shows and attracting the attention of critics\, curators\, and collectors alike. \n  \nSculpture by Mylene Costa \n

Her work embodies resilience\, spirituality\, and transformation — a visual dialogue between the sacred and the chaotic\, the broken and the reborn. The artist will be exhibiting at Aqua Art Miami December 3-7\, 2025 during Art Basel Miami Beach Week. SUMMARY:Mylene Costa — Red Dot Miami 2025\, presented by Artio Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, December 3rd through Sunday\, December 7th Artio Gallery\, Canada presents visual artist and sculptor Mylene Costa at Red Dot Miami Booth #309 at Mana Wynwood. Red Dot offers the unique opportunity to connect with blue-chip galleries and emerging artists—all under one roof. Visual artist Mylene Costa joins Art Basel Week Miami 2025\, represented by Artio Gallery (Toronto)\, exhibiting Hiato 1133 at Red Dot Miami in the Wynwood Arts District. \nMiami artist Mylene Costa is a Brazilian sculptor of international recognition\, whose work stands out for its feminine power\, formal elegance\, and refined aesthetic sensitivity. \n  \nArtio Gallery Statement:\nArtio Gallery is a forward-thinking contemporary art gallery devoted to championing both\nestablished and emerging artists from around the world. Based in Canada\, the gallery serves as a\nbridge between national and international art markets\, offering artists meaningful exposure and a\nprofessional platform to reach global audiences. \n  \n  \nVIP/PRESS PREVIEW\nWednesday\, December 3\, 2024 | 5PM – 6PM \nOPENING NIGHT PREVIEW\nWednesday\, December 3\, 2024 | 6PM – 9PM\n(Must be 21 years old or accompanied by an adult) \nSHOW HOURS\nThursday\, December 4\, 2024 | 12PM – 8PM\nFriday\, December 5\, 2024 | 12PM – 8PM\nSaturday\, December 6\, 2024 | 12PM – 8PM\nSunday\, December 7\, 2024 | 12PM – 6PM \n  \n  \nIMAGE: Hiato 1133\, Sculpture by Mylene Costa.

SUMMARY:ART EXPERIENCE - Peter Jooren: A Vision Preserved at Studio Hue 53
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, December 6th from 9 – 11am enjoy a mindful art experience & printmaking at Studio Hue 53 during Peter Jooren: A Vision Preserved\, a rare archival exhibition from the Jooren Studio Collection\, on view December 4-6\, 2025 during Art Basel Miami Beach Week. This extraordinary showcase invites viewers to explore the life’s work of Dutch artist Peter Jooren (1944–2016) — a painter whose imagination\, emotion\, and curiosity continue to resonate far beyond his time. \n  \nDiscover art as meditation. Join us for a Guided Mindful Art Walk through the exhibition\, where we invite visitors to linger with the legacy\, noticing details and emotions you might otherwise pass by\, honoring the artist’s vision by engaging with it slowly and intentionally. \nThis will be followed by a printmaking session bridging the past and present. You will learn to carve out a stamp and create a print inspired by one of Peter’s favorite subjects\, the Dutch cow. You will also get to take home a unique print pulled from one of Peter Jooren’s own carvings. \nNo experience is necessary — just bring curiosity and openness. All materials will be provided. \nPURCHASE TICKETS / RSVP HERE. \n  \n \n
