DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, February 17th and Sunday\, February 18th Hawkers Model Beach Volleyball\, a free and open to the public event\, will be returning to Miami Beach for it’s 9th annual gathering. Top model agencies are invited to participate in this thrilling 2-day co-ed tournament to benefit The Jack Brewer Foundation with the support of the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority. Returning title partner and vastly growing global brand based in Spain\, Hawkers\, will be showcasing their newest sunglasses designs courtside.\nOver 15\,000 spectators\, 12 agencies and 250 participating models this year’s event will surpass all of past tournaments expectations. iHeart Radio will be returning as the events marquee media partner for the 3rd consecutive year broadcasting live from the courts on Y-100\, 103.5 The Beat and Tu 94. The top four winning teams will win an all expense paid trip to rematch on the sandy beach of Resorts World Bimini on March 2-4\, 2018 hosted by Luna Beach Club.\nAppearances by Flo Rida\, YesJulz\, Olivia Pierson\, Natalie Halcro\, MTV’s favorite host Kenny Santcci\, The Miami Heat’s MC Dale the Host\, and Founders Olivia Ormos and Michael Malone with more guests TBA. SUMMARY:Fabien Castanier Gallery presents JonOne: Wanderlust
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, February 17th from 7-10pm Fabien Castanier Gallery is very excited to present the Opening Reception for Wanderlust\, a solo exhibition for artist JonOne\, who will be present at the opening. The exhibition coincides with Miami’s Art Wynwood fair on President’s Day Weekend\, which runs February 15-19; the gallery will showcase work by JonOne\, Speedy Graphito\, the Miaz Brothers\, RERO\, Mark Jenkins\, and Fidia Falaschetti. Wanderlust is the fourth solo exhibition for JonOne with the gallery and his first in Miami\, featuring all new works on canvas by the internationally acclaimed urban contemporary artist. Exhibition on view in the gallery through March 17\, 2018.\nJonOne (b. 1963\, New York) is one of the most influential urban artists of his generation. He grew up in Harlem\, New York\, where he discovered the thrill and personal expression found through painting in the streets and on train cars. A critical moment in the history of graffiti occurred during this time in the 1980s\, and JonOne chose to transport his New York graffiti roots to the streets of Paris when he was only 20 years old. Establishing his life in France\, he has since grown his career and reputation for the past 30 years with a unique style\, unparalleled in his genre.
