The epicenter of this storm was Paris\, France. He also explored photography and captured many two-dimensional images of his three-dimensional works throughout the 1920s. Curatorial Assistant J. Rachel Gustafson looks at Brancusi’s use of the photographic medium and specifically examines photographs of the artist’s 1925 sculpture\, Mademoiselle Pogany II\, from the Norton’s collection. / Picower Gallery\n7:30pm / Film: Hand Gestures (77 min)\nThis documentary follows the process of creating one of Velasco Vitali’s famous dog sculptures\, from wax to glazed bronze\, at Fonderia Artistica Battaglia (Battaglia Artistic Foundry) in Milan\, a place where the past and present share the same gestures and where each gesture is a sculpture itself.
