DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, November 5th from 6-9pm join us at Sirona Fine Art for the Opening Reception of “I Believe in Miracles”\, Brian Keith Stephens Solo Exhibition. The whimsical fantasy world of artist Brian Keith Stephens is back for a second solo exhibition at Sirona Fine Art; the gallery is a grand showcase for artists who embrace classic academic structure and technique\, yet have an understanding and facility within the modernist landscape in which their work is viewed. Brian Keith Stephens’ solo exhibition “I Believe in Miracles” will be on view from November 5—December 2\, 2016.\nBrian Keith Stephens is a perfect example of an artist who paints directly from his emotions and instincts. Stephens prepares his canvases by attaching random bits of cloth and canvas to the surface\, creating abstract patterns that he overlays with frenetic\, layered\, broad strokes by brush and palette knife. Simple images of animals\, his children and those he loves take on iconic stature in his large paintings. ICA Performs: Michael Clark Company\, the Miami debut of Great Britain’s renowned dance company. Hailed as “British dance’s true iconoclast\,” Clark and his distinctive choreography combine technical rigor and experimentation through interpretations of ballet\, punk\, Dada\, pop and rock. In October 2016\, Michael Clark Company will begin a month-long artist residency with ICA Miami on the YoungArts Campus that will culminate in five public presentations.
