Sergio Castiglione’s series\, segMOments\, explores a new concept of photography where space builds itself in the finite life of light. From Monet to 2001 Space Odyssey feature film time as a perception has been a major variable of life in culture\, a means to think the real. In the works of Castiglione the metropolis is the place where the Homo Architectus creates a new time device. Tadao Ando\, Le Corbusier\, Sanaa\, Toyo Ito are a few of the philosophers/architects who restate time in their projects.\nExperience panoramic photographs of some of the most significant cities around the world that reveal the view of the artist/architect by capturing the morphological beauty of an architecture that is merged with light as a marker of time. Great iconic cities in the itinerary of the avant-garde traveler make it possible for time to be subdivided and multiplied\, and with the artist’s intervention\, day and night can be reunited in a single shot.
