Experience ‘Kaleidoscope: Shifting Perspectives’ at Studio 18 in Pembroke Pines, Opens August 21st


Studio 18 Art Complex in Pembroke Pines presents Kaleidoscope: Shifting Perspectives, showcasing a diverse group of South Florida artists whose practices highlight the richness of contemporary art. By working across various disciplines and conceptual frameworks, these artists present interconnected ways of engaging with the world. Art lovers and the community are invited to experience the Opening Reception on Thursday, August 21, 2026 from 7 – 9pm, featuring the artists whose work brings this dynamic exhibition to life. Studio 18 Art Complex is located at 1101 Poinciana Drive in the City of Pembroke Pines, Florida 33025. This Event is FREE and Open to the Public. The exhibition is on view August 21st – November 5th, 2026.

Like a kaleidoscope, the exhibition unfolds through multiple perspectives. Each artwork offers unique entry points shaped by personal experience, cultural context, and imagination. Rather than a single narrative, it invites visitors to explore different viewpoints and discover unexpected connections.

Kaleidoscope: Shifting Perspectives encourages viewers to look closely, embrace new interpretations, and recognize the value of every perspective in forming a broader understanding. Artists participating in this exhibition include Ana Vanessa Urvina, Ben Morey, Camila Auxiliadora Castillo Gomez, Claudette Goico Šernius, Ena Castillo-Barillas, Jacqueline Hong, Joanne Pilar Corry, Laura Newitt, Lila Estela Lopez Herrera, Lizzy Taber, Marybeth Bruninga, Monica Czukerberg, Monica Olivo, Sandra Garcia-Pardo, and Silvana Soriano.
